Ë®¹ûÅÉ’s online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program provides a strong, ethical foundation for motivated students, helping them to become transformational leaders at for-profit businesses, nonprofits or governmental agencies.
Students can complete the program in one year or proceed at their own pace.
The AMH/MACC degree is designed for students who wish to become ethical professional counselors skilled in treating mental health and addiction disorders. Defined as science that is used for purposes of the law, forensic science is an exciting and fascinating field for students who have a strong interest in chemistry and biology. Forensic scientists work closely with investigators, attorneys and others to discover, analyze and deliver evidence during criminal investigations. As a forensic science major at Alvernia, you’ll develop the knowledge and skills necessary to work in a modern crime lab in your hometown, or at the regional, state or federal level. Students who enjoy science and math and are interested in pursuing a science-related career may find general science to be an ideal major. Alvernia’s program offers students insight into the intellectual and philosophical natures of science, and helps them develop the ability to select, adopt, evaluate and employ strategies and materials. Students will acquire a broad background in the sciences, enabling them to develop skills that relate to a variety of topics, ideas and experiences. The curriculum includes biology, chemistry, physics and earth science, teaching how science intersects with society.

Ë®¹ûÅÉ’s Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education with Grades PK-4 Certification prepares teachers for preschool through Grade 4 in public and private educational institutions. The program is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
The program leads to a Bachelor of Arts degree and the Pennsylvania Instructional I Certificate in Grades PK-4. Students may expand their certification to the middle-school level by taking an additional certification exam. This teacher preparation program is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

The program provides flexibility for the working adult students by offering the program in an online format. Ë®¹ûÅÉ’s online post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program is designed for students who have earned a master's degree in Occupational Therapy and have completed all prerequisites. The OTD is offered over eight mods requiring 16 months of study, including foundational, professional and fieldwork. It follows a year-round curriculum sequence: spring, summer, fall, spring.
