Alvernia's nursing programs respond to current and emerging workforce needs by providing highly skilled, highly educated, values-based practitioners and leaders, at all levels in the healthcare continuum.

The John and Karen Arnold School of Nursing features the state-of-the-art, interprofessional Healthcare Simulation Center. The 55,000-square-foot space has expanded classrooms and laboratories dedicated to interprofessional training, fundamentals skills, health assessment, standardized patient simulations and a specialized resuscitation quality intervention area. Faculty and lab coordinators' offices, dedicated meeting areas and conference rooms are also incorporated throughout the space.

Undergraduate Programs (B.S.)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Ë®¹ûÅÉ prepares future nursing professionals to enter the field ready to provide skillful, compassionate healthcare in virtually every setting, from community health clinics and hospitals to schools and nursing homes to emergency and disaster relief sites. 

RN to BSN Completion Program

Our RN to BSN Completion Program is designed for registered nurses. It caters to graduates of diploma or associate degree nursing programs, whether new graduates just taking the NCLEX-RN examination or experienced RNs.

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)


Alvernia's Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program provides a graduate degree in nursing that prepares professional nurses for advanced roles in education and administration in a variety of settings. Accomplished and supportive faculty help nurses achieve their career goals with a personalized approach and support all along the way.
 

 

Certificates

Graduate Certificate in Nursing Education


The 12-credit Graduate Certificate in Nursing Education is offered to professional registered nurses who possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field, Masters in Nursing (MSN) or related field or Doctorate. Courses provide nurses with foundational knowledge and essential skills to fulfill various roles in nursing education, including pre-licensure and staff development.
 

Graduate Certificate in Nursing Leadership

The 12-credit Graduate Certificate in Nursing Leadership is offered to professional registered nurses who possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related field, or doctorate.
